A good day.
10th February 2025,
Fourteenth day of blogging.
I just moved this day to one of best memories. I actually went to a reception with my siblings and their friends. I had a lot of fun with them. So the venue was 9 km away from our home. All of them gathered here. It was already 7:30 pm when I started to get ready. And we left at around 8:30 pm. Due to heavy traffic we reached their too lately. 9:10 was the exact time. So there were some ours friends and their family who has been waiting for us. The moment we entered, i went straight to the ice cream spot where we get scoops and scoops of ice creams. And I entered the hall with a scoop of ice cream in one hand and a wooden stick-spoon in another.
Then we moved upstairs by the lift which has a big mirror in it. We saw the exhausted bride and groom posing with people for photo. We waited for a while to take pictures with them. Meanwhile had some fun talks, lots of laughter, and jokes. I had some snacks and sweets in between with the help of my boys.
After giving the gifts to the newly married couples, we climbed down the stairs to go have food.
But something that I was expected wasn't there. Chapathi. It was over at the time we went. But unexpectedly we all had something great. Yes the catering service by two women, which made us ask them if they are from groom's side or bride's side. All they told was that they just workers. The way they called each of us with sweet nicknames and served food without any delay or disparities made us think that they cannot be just workers. Then after washing my hand with a tummy full of food, i searched those two women and i found one of them, waved at her but she called the person whom she was serving and showed me saying, "look, that papa is waving at you" but then I ran to her and said that I was waving at no other person but at you. She gave a very genuine smile which filled my heart with joy. Then we came out from the hall. There was people sitting in a truck, the people who worked and helped through out the event. One of them called me, i couldn't figure who she is as I wasn't wearing my specs. Then I saw one of the ladies who served us the food. I was too glad that I found her and we both said goodbye and we left. Finally my sister drove me home. And we reached safely.
